This weekend marks a seminal event in New Eden history as Dust corporations will for the first time have the ability to bid on and acquire/fulfill contracts and fight for their faction/race. This is no small feat, we've seen some exciting things recently, like better gameplay, improved visuals...orbital strikes. Its been nice, but nothing trumps the ability for organizations to group together to achieve goals.
Organizations will have that ability this weekend. There is even the reward of 1M Skill Points and ISK to the winner. Could this mean we'll have the ability to finally start/join corporations? Will we see bigger group sizes? We can't help but wonder what organization will rise above the pack to show it is the early alpha dog among the corporations by leading their faction to victory? We've all heard seen and heard the names: Global Conflict, SyN, Tritan Industries, STB, KEQ, BHZ, Betamax...the list goes on and on. Will we see the cream rise to the top in the very near future?
Only time will tell which corporation will fire the first salvo of dominance in a galaxy that has certainly seen the ebbs and flows of power firsthand. Many of our GNN reporters be carefully watching this weekend cataloging the proceedings. Hopefully the defeats and victories will be worth it. Gallente, Caldari, Minmatar and Amarr will all be in search of glory this weekend. Login and make your mark.

ReplyDeleteCCP has said its this small for testing purposes it will increase in time (unclear whether within beta or not, hopefully within), and to other question no wont be able to create corps yet.

ReplyDeletehalf of SyN has alts in STB? lolwut? as Leader of SyN we dont even play MAG, less than a handful of ppl in SyN have/had MAG. SyN was not founded on MAG and we are not a MAG clan. We are a competitive clan and MAG was not a competitive game.
