GNN: Serpentis augments forces with Drones?

As CONCORD closed in on a Serpentis Safehouse last night, an apparently secured crimescene turned into a warzone as the criminals inside activated roughly twenty TK-70 drones that attacked authorities and covered their escape. While all of the drones were eventually destroyed, there were numerous injuries and one casualty among the CONCORD agents.



While the concept of using drones to supplement warfare has dwindled a bit with the advent of clone tech, apparently many groups still use automated forces to supplement their offensive and defensive capabilities. many are wondering if we could see the same thing from mercenary corporations in the future.

In theory, such drone tech could be used to guard or patrol facilities in addition to being dropped in with merc forces as a supplemental force. We'll continue to monitor this story as more information becomes available.
