PFBHz leaves ROFL!

Multiple sources have confirmed that the most high profile corp within the ROFL alliance has jumped ship. The timing seems odd as PFBHz just completed dominating the New Eden Live Trials. While we are still collecting details and reaching out to those involved, one source did provide us with an alliance communication detailing the split, which we will print below. Other sources within ROFL seemed to suggest that PFBHz may have been voted out. Could a merger between The Imperfects and PFBHz be on the horizon? Recent speculation has touched on this subject multiple times, and the only barrier in the past was the fact that both groups already had alliances. Veteran EVE corporations must be licking their lips at the prospect of a for hire group with the best mercs in the galaxy to do their bidding. Is this the first axe to fall for ROFL? Are other corporations ready to flee as well? Stay tuned to our blog and Twitter for updates as we continue to follow this story.

Mitauchi Statement
It saddens me to have to announce the PFBHz has officially been removed from RISE of LEGION alliance. Their has been a build up of continued challenges between the various members of leadership and PFBHz since their foundation as well as before with their parent organizations. Even though we as a team tried to address these challenges head on, we have been unable to meet any compromise that allows our two cultures of game play to co-exist within the same community. So as of 10:30 PM CST last night I, after consulting the rest of the Founders Board, made the final decision to accept Jlongshot's offer to leave ROFL Alliance in a respectful fashion.

Due to the fact this decision was executed so quickly and without prior notice in accordance with our security protocols we have given PFBHz temporary blues in order for them to move their assets and provide their pilots with some sense of security to allow their transition to go more smoothly. We still have many good friends within their group so I ask that you respect our former brothers in this difficult time. We may of had challenges within the leadership which unfortunately lead to this end, but many have forged friendships within the membership of PFBHz which will hopefully stand through these transitions.

So what now?

We continue to move forward as a unified team. Under our current leadership structure our challenges in the past have remained hidden from the rest of the alliance leadership, not allowing the transparency and involvement that many of our member corps deserve. To remedy this we will be moving all boardroom responsibilities and duties to the full leadership council. The board will transition into my personal advisory council at this stage and will remain so for the life of their each of their corporations. These corporations had the foresight to create ROFL Alliance and are in agreement with this transition in order to better include our brother corps in the decision making process. Details about these changes will be finalized in this evenings final Boardroom meeting. I opening invite all leadership (redskulls) to take part in this meeting @ 02:00 GMT.

I would like to thank all those in leadership as well as the members that have offered your support during these past 24 hours. I have asked of each of you for your loyalty, your dedication and commitment to RISE of LEGION and your individual corporations so that we may foster a team unmatched within the New Eden Universe. A team not built on elitist ideals or natural selection but one that reaches out a hand to a fallen brother to get him up and push him forward on the field of battle. This team that does not put down or exploit its own brothers for the gain of himself or his corp's interests but rather dedicates his time, energy and wealth to the good of the whole. ROFL is a brotherhood, a family and I will continue to protect this family. We are legion, and we will continue to rise together.

I honestly don't care about any kind of imaginary pecking order. I'm not sure where the animosity comes from. I have friends in PFBHz and was sad to see you guys leave.

I'm not sure why we are tryhards? Because we actually give effort? PHI is not an elite clan, nor do we claim to be in any capacity. We're a group of friends that try to have fun and play together.

They were fighting on the ground, the whole point of ROFL is to provide fleet,

  24. There are (and were) some cool people in ROFL, people that we'd known since the early days of MAG, but the ROFL alliance as a whole is straight clowning. 40 ships to a tournament finals against some 300 enemy ships? Got lucky once, wouldn't have gotten lucky in the future. Those of us on the Dust side have built tournament winning teams and grown exponentially -- all while dealing with the shitty builds, bugs, and poor user interfaces of Dust514. What the fuck were they doing on the EVE side for the year plus that we've had this alliance set up?

Helping a fallen brother? Fuck right the fuck off. Nearly every single thread by a random ROFL nub in the ROFL forums had a PFBHz name there with offers of help, advice, guidance, even 1 on 1 or CB-style training. Who else in the alliance was even capable of doing so, not to mention actually active enough and willing to do so?

I would've left this all alone were it not for this hilariously pathetic attempt at spin, but the truth is that ROFL is running a kingdom and Mitauchi sees himself as the fucking Sun King, with corps below as nothing more than fiefdoms. Who's the elitist? Who were the ones bitching about PFB and BHz utilizing founding corp rights to veto new applicants to the alliance?

ROFL is a failboat and its home port is the kingdom of fail.

Hard to grow and give support when your leadership veto'd everyone, including more eve pilots.

The only one in here spinning is you guys. If we are so bad, and such a shitty alliance why are you on here complaining about not being in it. We dont claim to be perfect. Sure on the forums you would offer help and assitance. Some of us even took you up on it. But actions by some of your members and leadership itself showed the complete oppisite. You cant get anyone to fight you so you turned inwards and decided to rape and pillage members of your own alliance for the most part setting those groups back in player numbers.

Its sad that the best corp in the game were actually the ones holding us back from growing and becoming a larger alliance.

I wish nothing but the best for you guys. I will miss the tololol shit with J, Inhuman and Fizzy, many lol's had. I have nothing but respect for what you guys have created I just wish you could have shown more to the rest of the people that you were allied with.

You're full of shit and honestly I'm surprised you'd come out here now and talk this shit, when in the public ROFL boards you shitheads were always buddy-buddy. But then again that's exactly what you people do -- you play politics and talk shit behind other people while simultaneously running the biggest joke of an alliance that Dust514 has seen so far.

I'd give you a screenshot of the exultation that we've had in our site chat and forums that we're no longer in the alliance. Read my lips: PFBHz is better off for not being in this alliance.

    3. Ok man,

I have had plenty of private conversations with J. on mulitple instances. And have always given my opinion with out bias.

When you were a leader we never got a chance to work together much which is way you are probably trying to shit all over me currently. It seems that your true feelings are being revealed here anyways, and from the sounds of it, it seems to be a great decision for both parties. So lets wrap up this shit show, and get the fuck on with our lifes instead of trying to continue to drag each other thru the mud which will not get anyone anywhere.

I look forward to having my ass handed to me by you guys in the future.

      -Murph

    4. My true feelings? I was neutral to just about everyone in ROFL that I didn't know personally up until now.

It's not emotion, but fact, that I voted in plenty of corps when you and ROFL would have everyone believe that all we were doing was being obstructionists. And even then, as founding corps, both PFB and BHz were fully within their rights to veto every single applicant if we saw fit. It was in the alliance charter that all agreed to. So the fact that some of you people in ROFL try to use that as if it's a problem shows that you don't even understand the basics of how your own alliance charter works.

      Good job, and good day.

    5. Yes you did Autumn, I remember. You did leave your position though, and things did change after. No one is talking about your personal voting in the past. Just mentioning some of the issues. Murph was not at all wrong in what he had to say.
Also no one is saying you guys went outside the rules at all. Just that it didn't always feel like it was helping. That is likely part of the differences in cultures.

Things change. It will be interesting to see what the future brings. Best of luck to you guys in your future efforts, and knowing New Eden we have no idea what time will bring.

  27. lol...it appears internet spacesuits are also now super-cereal business.

The main problem here is that for the average person involved, this all happened suddenly. This whole culture divergence that would, from Mitauchi's PR piece, appear to have been building for a while, was actually not something that we as a corp experienced amongst the many friends we have in ROFL; in the forums, in fleets, etc. So you can imagine that most people feel blindsided by those that acted one way to our faces, and spoke differently behind our backs.

The fact that this is now being aired out publicly on this ridiculous blog should not come as a surprise to anyone. Most people were completely cut off from the rest of the alliance before we could speak with anyone.

To ROFL: It was fun. I hope you soon have a fleet worthy of your ground numbers. I'll see you on the other end of the barrel. Don't forget your now exiled founders...as if we'd let you.

  29. A sad day, and a sad blog post. The unfortunate reality of a large alliance is that issues arise, and corporations join and leave over time. While I know many people with pfbhz and am fond of many of their members, sometimes issues arise that lead to separations. If there is anything I learned from years in MAG it is that over time, everything changes. To expect anything less is ridiculous. I am sure that I will be seeing you all in the skies and on the battlefield in the future, and I hope you'll all save some bullets for me. Good luck in your future adventures, until we meet again.

Some of the people in ROFL, particularly some of the other corp leaders, I considered friends. I am sure you all know who you are. It really hurts to get stabbed in the back. I guess I can see how some of you feel we were just "turning in on you" and whatnot, and sure the massive amounts of trolling by some of our members didn't help.

But words are words, and the truth is, believe it or not, we figured going up against us (and it wasn't always our best teams, more that we tried to get people in who knew/wanted to fight their friends) was helping more than hurting. You don't learn anything by pubstomping/beating on noobs all day. You only learn by playing with/against people who exhibit skills greater than your own.

To Mit, I though I knew you man. I'm sure you don't give a flying shit about my opinion, not to mention anyone else in PFBHz (probably not anyone else anyway) and I don't think you are actually a bad person IRL. As a man to another man, I wish you and your family only the best. but as a player of video games, I feel you have a serious superiority complex. the fact that you're either rolling your eyes or otherwise disregarding that as you read it is evidence of that.

And to all the other ROFL members, If you feel like we are a bunch of elitists, I hope you can understand our side of the story. Certainly some of our members aren't exactly the most diplomatic people alive, but to assume our own PFBHz leadership, of which IMO are some of the most reasonable and diplomatic of the bunch, were trying to act as elitists, or even to say they were "holding ROFL back", is absolutely obsurd. We wanted ROFL to be.. the very best. like no one ever was.

I just hope that the group of true friends we have in ROFL don't share this hostility and ostracizing attitude that some other people in the Rise of Legion alliance clearly do.

Speaking ill and trash talking behind Anonymous names
is really stupid and pointless BTW. No matter who's doing it or what they are saying.

    4. Props to Orin for honest and balanced, no holds barred, anti-internet tough guy realism...and for pretty much nailing how I feel as well. I told myself it was beneath me to post here...but his post motivated me to.

This went down on my birthday, so I was out at dinner with friends when this bomb dropped. It wasn't until the next morning that I got to view the carnage. Do I think some of the steps taken were excessive? YEAH, I do. At the same time some of the stuff said afterwards have put things in the point-of-no-return area. The tongue is a smoldering flame.

Still, I have friends and people I respect in PFBHz and will continue to. But some of you contributed to this with words and behavior that was beneath you. Now i'm hearing that on more than two occasions (one which I witnessed myself in squad) "trolling" descended into racial slurs in fleet comms? REALLY? That doesnt have a place in any serious organization. Doubt me? Try explaining to Shaka Zulu or Los how funny stuff like that is. Better yet explain to me how I can in good conscience bring players from different cultures to a group where stuff like that is going on?

But of course, this is the internet right? Where everything is lulzy and no one can limit what I want to say because there aren't any consequences, right?

      WRONG.

Sometimes freedom is disguised as chaos. At some point it becomes a character issue and some things can't be said or done because they're wrong. In the same vein some of the verbal stuff should have been the first sign that some people were taking things too far and needed to be reined in.

Like Orin, I also dont do the "sour grapes" I never liked you anyway thing. What am I? Twelve? To me thats just silly. But no Orin, I dont share the hostility and ostracizing attitude that some have towards those involved. Those who do? you probably forgot ITS A GODDAMN VIDEO GAME. Still, like I told Dis and J in chat--I feel like an opportunity was missed here.

In closing i'll wish the best of luck to all parties involved. No one is without fault here, as mistakes were made on both sides. As corny as this blog is, some of the comments made me think. Going forward its partly my responsibility to make sure nothing like this can ever happen again while I remain a member of ROFL.

      Good Day Gentlemen.

To those "winning Eve claims", you're fucking delusioned, and should fap away in your basement caves in silence. ROFL had (including PFBHz) 300 EVE characters, now 275. Then you worthless fucks go and lose CBs to nobodies while dodging all offers of practice and scrims, what do you expect?

Did you expect PFB to be here and spend all this time in an alliance that aren't actively looking to improve? Of all the months of time in which we've made ourselves available to practice and scrim, the amount of times someone in the alliance took us up on the offer can be counted on one hand. You should be mad. You should be mad, because the reason you got called out like that in the chat was because you're all full of excuses and completely uninterested in actually improving in meaningful ways.

Instead you're all caught up on why we won't let your best buddies BHD in, and whenever someone makes a joke about your mother, then going back to your TS server to gossip.

For fuck's sake, there is no "rep" to lose when you are facing your alliance mates, man up and try to work on your teamwork, tactics, and skill. I won't bother to elaborate, but I've witnessed it firsthand, where some of you were so paranoid about losing to PFBHz you refused to CB, or bailed out midmatch if something went wrong and left your buddies to die.

Once again, respect to those who tried, no matter the odds we put against you, and good luck to the friends who still fly the ROFL banner. May you have better fortunes than your blinded compatriots.

  39. Personally, I see this as a good thing on our side since we're basically free agents now. We can now do what we want without having to listen to a dictator.

ROFL had to many rules and to many guidelines to follow. You can't do this or that and so on. Don't get me wrong, ROFL has some great players that are fun to play with but the leader of the alliance is just so restricting.

Still not aware of the details but fact remains fact..PFBHz is gone and like it or not, we all have to move on. 2. Like I explained in my first post here, I wouldn't have said a thing were it not for this pathetic excuse for a PR spin post that Mitauchi felt necessary to put out. No one from PFBHz felt the need to stroke their egos by making a huge public announcement of it, why is it that ROFL's dear leader needed to? Furthermore, why is it that once ROFL's dear leader opened his dog ass of a mouth, all the ROFL shit eaters felt the need to come crawling out and post garbage under anonymous IDs?

Ask yourself that before you wonder why there's no respect here for ROFL.

Respect is earned, not given. Not many in ROFL ever earned my respect, and the way this entire thing has gone down -- including the various pussy-shit 'Anonymous' posts -- has sufficed to lose my respect entirely.
